Honor 10 with dual rear AI cameras, under-the-glass fingerprint sensor launched in India

The Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels along with 2.5D curved glass and 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by company’s in-house octa-core Kirin 970 chipset along with Mali G72 MP12 GPU. The device features AI 2.0 as well.

Honor has today announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the Honor 10, at an event in London. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 32,999 and it will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting from May 16.The major highlight of Honor 10 is the under-the-glass fingerprint sensor, which is present at the base of the front. Just like any other Honor and Huawei smartphones, this one also comes equipped with AI integration. The device features AI 2.0, which the brand claims allow better portraits and enhanced face detection.

Coming to the sheer specifications, the Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels along with 2.5D curved glass and 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by company’s in-house octa-core Kirin 970 chipset along with Mali G72 MP12 GPU. The device is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Another major highlight of the smartphone is the dual rear camera setup of 16 megapixels (RBG) with LED flash and 24-megapixels (monochrome) with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, PDAF and 4K video recording. In the front, a 24-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture has been provided for selfies.

The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system wrapped under EMUI 8.1 and gets its strength from a 3400 mAh battery with fast charging support that can charge from 0 to 50% in just 25 minutes. Besides, the smartphone has a Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port and NFC. The handset measures 149.6 x 71.2 x 7.7 mm and weighs 153 grams.
