Lenovo's sub-brand, Motorola launched Moto G5 smartphone in India last year with Android Nougat. The smartphone has now been spotted on GeekBench benchmarking website with the Android Oreo operating system. This simply implies that company is perhaps testing the latest software and may release the same for the device soon.
Motorola XT1670 device has appeared on the benchmarking website running on Android Oreo 8.1. It seems that Motorola will skip the Android 8.0 update and jumped directly to Android 8.1. Moto G5 is currently retailing for Rs 8,500.

Moto G5 comes features a 5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of a 1980 x 1080 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The phone is backed by a 3GB of RAM and an option of 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is embedded on its home button.
