Amazon introduces monthly subscription for Prime Membership at Rs 129

The new monthly subscription plan comes with a price tag of Rs 129 and users can subscribe to this plan only using credit or debit card option. Further, the site says that users can only pay for the subscription by using HDFC or ICICI debit card. Amazon will auto-renew the plan every month.

Amazon has silently announced a monthly subscription plan for its Prime membership in India. As of now, customers had an option of annual subscription of Rs 999.

 Amazon will auto-renew the plan every month and it will notify the user three days before the auto-renewal date. If a customer is not interested, he/she can head over the website and cancel it. Apart from this, the company still offers the annual subscription plan of Rs 999.

With Amazon Prime, users will enjoy a host of services offered by the e-commerce platform. Users will get Prime Music through which Prime members will be able to enjoy ad-free and on-demand music across devices, at no additional cost.

As per Amazon, Prime members will have unlimited free one day and two-day delivery facility. As of now for such quick delivery, one has to shell out as much as Rs 100. Prime members also enjoy discounted same-day, morning and scheduled delivery to pin-codes in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and more cities across India.

Besides, Amazon Prime subscribers will have early access to lightning deals and others. On its website, Amazon said, "As a Prime member, you get early access to top Lightning Deals every day, 30 minutes before other customers. Choose the Prime Early Access filter when you search deals, and be the first to view the best deals every day."
