HTC first unveiled its mid-range Desire 12 and Desire 12+ back in March this year and the company is now bringing the devices to the Indian market. In a recent tweet, the company has announced that the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12 Plus will be launched in the country on June 6.
In terms of specifications, the HTC Desire 12 features a 5.5-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC, coupled with 2/3G RAM and 16/32GB internal storage. The Desire 12 has a single 13MP (f/2.2) camera on the back and a 5MP (f/2.4) selfie shooter on the front. Rounding it off is an unimpressive 2,730mAh battery.
The HC Desire 12+, on the other hand, features a 6-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC along with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Unlike the regular Desire 12, the Desire 12+ packs in a dual-camera setup on the back with a 13MP (f/2.2) sensor coupled with a 2MP sensor, along with an 8MP camera for selfies. The battery on the Desire 12+ is rated at 2,965mAh, which is also rather unimpressive.

HTC Desire 12 Plus
As of now, HTC has not revealed any details regarding pricing and availability, but based on the international pricing of EUR 185 (~Rs. 14,500) and EUR 235 (~Rs. 18,500) for the Desire 12 and Desire 12+ respectively, we believe that the upcoming smartphones will bomb as soon as they’re released.
