Moto Z3 Play Launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage Full Features and Specs Review


The 4GB RAM variant in Deep Indigo colour was launched for R$ 2,299 (approx. Rs 40,157). The new variant will also be available in darker Onyx colour. Apart from RAM and storage, there are no other differences between both the variants.

Motorola launched Moto Z3 Play earlier this month in Brazil with 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. Now a higher-end variant of Moto Z3 Play with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage has been launched. The smartphone has been announced in Brazil for a price of R$2,699 which is approximately Rs 48,550.

The Moto Z3 Play features a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The device carries an aircraft-grade 6000 series aluminium frame that supports the two Gorilla Glass 3 panels on the front and back.

On the inside, the Z3 Play is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with Adreno 509 graphics, 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. In terms of imaging, the Motorola device has a 12MP (f/1.7 aperture, 1.4um pixel size) sensor coupled with a 5MP f/2.2 lens at the back, both of which combined will offer an AI-enabled depth of field experience with support for Google Lens. The camera on the front is now an 8MP f/2.0 lens.

The device runs on a near-to-stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. All of this backed by a 3,000mAh battery that carries support for Turbocharging.
