Samsung has announced and confirmed that it will bring Bixby voice assistant into all of its product by 2020. We have heard about it that the company is working on Bixby to introduce it to all products but after the company’s announcement now its has also been confirmed.
It seems that after the success of Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple’s Siri, and Microsoft’s Cortana, now Samsung is seriously thinking about its Bixby voice assistant. The company wants that every product of it must be able to talk to you.
Samsung Bixby Voice Assistant to Come in All of its Products by 2020
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Samsung’s head of consumer electronics Kim Hyun-suk said that:
“The company will include internet connectivity and its virtual assistant in all of its products by 2020. The goal is to turn Samsung’s army of devices into a legitimate ecosystem that will be centralized with the SmartThings app”
Kim further added that due to a lack of cohesion with the products it shipped, the previous efforts of AI by company did not work. However, this time Samsung does not want to repeat all those mistakes.
For better Bixby Samsung has delayed the launch of virtual assistant launch over its struggles with the English language.
Samsung AI research center head Gray G. Lee has confirmed in a separate interview that Samsung Bixby 2.0 will include enhancements to its natural language processes, noise resistance, and response times. He also confirmed that the Bixby 2.0 will launch along with the next flagship device.
