Best Moto G6 Plus smartphone teased, Launching Soon


Motorola launched its G6 series smartphones that include Moto G6, G6 Play and G6 Plus in Brazil in April this year. The company has already launched the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in India. And now its the turn of Moto G6 Plus to be launched in India. The Moto G6 comes with a price tag of Rs 13,999 and the Moto G6 Play is priced at Rs 11,999.

After launching budget-centric Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play for the Indian market recently, now Motorola has now started teasing Moto G6 Plus smartphone, which hints that India launch of the said smartphone is around the corner. However, the company has not revealed the exact date of launch.

The company posted as a teaser on its official Twitter handle. The tweet reads "It’s time to ask for more from your smartphone. Get ready to say hello to the #MotoG6Plus, which is #BuiltForMore with a smart camera and serious performance! Stay tuned."

To start with the key specifications of Moto G6 Plus, the phone features a 5.93-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2160 pixel resolution.  The smartphone is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC with Adreno 508 GPU. This is paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.

It ships with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. This dual SIM phone has two rear cameras - 12-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash and f/1.7 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary rear camera.  For selfies and video calling, it offers an 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash.


The Moto G6 Plus is powered by a 3200mAh battery with TurboCharge support and there is a fingerprint sensor on the front embedded in the home button. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm earphone jack, Bluetooth 5, and dual-SIM. The phone measures 160 x 75.5 x 8.0 mm and it weighs 167g
