Well! Microsoft Working On A New Next-Generation OS
Synaptics may have given Windows fans something to look forward to with their latest announcement, as it mentions the tech giant Microsoft’s ‘next generation’ operating system with a focus on biometric security and Windows Hello.
Actually, the clue comes from an announcement from the biometric sensor company, which is joining forces with AMD to develop a “new industry benchmark in high-security biometric fingerprint authentication.”
The aim of the association is to make use of the FS7600 Match-in-Sensor from Synaptics, which is a fingerprint sensor technology completely isolated and contained in itself. This means that the patterns are stored and combined separately from the rest of the system and the operating system, thus adding a new layer of security to the authentication process.
According to the announcement, the technology will also be based on AMD’s Ryzen Mobile platforms and a new Microsoft operating system, which is referenced twice in the first paragraph:-
“Synaptics recently announced a joint initiative focused on offering a new industry benchmark in high-security biometric fingerprint authentication for enterprise/commercial and consumer laptops based on the next-generation AMD mobile platform Ryzen and Microsoft’s next-generation operating system.”
“The collaboration brings a new level of security for AMD-based laptops by leveraging Synaptics’ exclusive FS7600 Match-in-Sensor fingerprint sensor technology with powerful AMD Ryzen Mobile processors and the tech giant Microsoft’s next biometric security operating system. included Windows Hello.”The tech giant Microsoft partner conference, Inspire, will be held from July 15 to 18, so there could be some announcement about this new next-gen operating system, or maybe it’s too early, we do not know. We will be up to date with the news.
