Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition officially Leaked, might come soon


New images of the upcoming fitness band has teased online. The images reveals that the band will come loaded with a translucent rubber straps. To recall, Xiaomi introduced its latest Mi Band 3 in China in May this year. The fitness band is available in Black, Blue and Red colour options.

Xiaomi has teased a special edition of its recently launched Mi Band 3. Dubbed as, Mi Band Explorer Edition, new images of the upcoming fitness band has teased online.

The images reveals that the band will come loaded with a translucent rubber straps. The images were teased by Xiaomi’s sub-brand Mijia on Chinese social media Weibo. The translucent straps looks pretty promising, although, there is no information on whether there would be some added functionality to the fitness band or not. Further, the pricing and availability details of the band is not known at the moment. So, stay tuned with us for further details.

To recall, Xiaomi introduced its latest Mi Band 3 in China in May this year.  The successor to the Mi Band 2 which was released a couple years ago features a 0.78-inch OLED monochrome screen that Xiaomi claims will offer a better experience when viewing messages and notification. The Mi Band 3 will first arrive in China for an asking price of 169 yuan (approx. Rs 1,780) and the product will likely be launched in India soon.

The Mi Band 3 can now display your messages and answer your calls right off its display. There’s a weather forecast notification as well as an alarm clock which can both be accessed through the touchscreen of the activity tracker. The Mi Band is equipped with a heart rate monitor and can also count the number of steps you took for an entire day as part of its health-based functions.

The Mi Band 3 will come with an improved battery that will last you up to 20 days on a single charge. The fitness tracker would also be resistant to dust and water to up to 50 meters, meaning the device could well be used for swimming. There’s a more expensive version of the device which comes with NFC support as well. The fitness band is available in Black, Blue and Red colour options.
