The Chinese company Honor is all set to launch the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max smartphones on September 5. Now ahead of the launch, the Honor 8X Max has been spotted on Chinese online retailer JD.com.
The listing shows that the Honor 8X Max features a huge 7.12-inch Full HD+ 2244×1080 pixels display with a Waterdrop-like notch above it. The handset will sport an AI-powered dual primary camera setup and a fingerprint sensor at the back. The front will have a slim chin with the Honor branding at the bottom.
The smartphone will have two variants including 4GB RAM with 64GB and 6GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. It will come in black, red, and blue colour variants. The phone will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 chipset. On the software front, it will run Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2, out of the box.
The phone will measure 177.57 × 86.24 × 8.13 mm in terms of dimensions and will weigh around 156 grams. It will have various connectivity features like Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
