Realme is gearing to launch its second smartphone -Realme 2, in India very soon. There is a possibility that the announcement might be made this month. The company had entered the Indian market in May this year.
Madhav Seth, Chief Executive Officer, Realme India said to The Mobile Indian, "We will be launching Realme 2 very soon In India and it will be loaded with features that weren't made available in Realme 1." On the pricing, he said, " We would be pricing it in the affordable category because as a brand we want to focus on keeping aam aadmi ( common man) happy."
He further added, "We constantly try to improve our product by incorporating features which our consumers demand from us. Feedback from our consumers is very critical for us and we take it very seriously."
It may be recalled that Realme which until recently was known as sub-brand of Oppo is all set to establish as an independent company In India. Madhav said, "The move to separate was on the card for quite some time and the primary driver was to target a different set of audience/ customers which were not targeted by Oppo. Also, in an independent unit, one gets a lot of freedom to experiment without being burdened by expectation from a well-established brand."
