Just days after introducing the Vivosmart 4 with pulse oxygen sensor for Rs 12,990, Garmin has announced that it’s expanding its Forerunner smartwatch lineup with the launch of the Forerunner 45 , Forerunner 45S , Forerunner 245 , Forerunner 245 Music and Forerunner 945. All five smartwatches will be enabled with GPS as well as fitness tracking.

Offering similar features as the Forerunner 945, the Garmin Forerunner 245 and Forerunner 245 Music provide performance monitoring tools like VO2 max and training status with adjustments for heat, recovery time and aerobic and anaerobic training effects.
The Garmin Forerunner 245 and Forerunner 245 Music will be available for asking prices of $299.99 (approx. Rs 21,000) and $349.99 (approx. Rs 24,400).
Garmin Forerunner 45, Forerunner 45S
The cheapest of the new Forerunner series are the Garmin Forerunner 45 and Forerunner 45S which offer users heart-rate monitoring and built-in GPS to keep track of pace, distance, intervals and more. The watches feature all-day stress monitoring, Body Battery energy monitoring and will record efforts during a cycling workout, on the elliptical, while doing cardio and yoga. The Forerunner 45 series features up to 7 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 13 hours in GPS mode.
The Forerunner 45 and Forerunner 45S will sell for an asking price of $199.99 (approx Rs 13,900).
