Samsung Galaxy A70 Launches in India Soon, gets listed on the official website Review


The company announced the global availability of the Galaxy A70 at the time of launching the Galaxy A80 earlier this week.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A70 in South Korea. Now the smartphone is expected to launch in India soon as the device has now been found listed on the company's official website. The company announced the global availability of the Galaxy A70 at the time of launching the Galaxy A80 earlier this week.

In China, the 6GB RAM variant of the Samsung Galaxy A70 is available for pre-orders with a price tag of CNY 2,999 which is approx. Rs 30,919, while its 8GB RAM model is listed at CNY 3,299 which is approx Rs 34,000). The Galaxy A70 India microsite confirms that the device will indeed be launching in India soon, although Samsung has not revealed any an exact launch date of the device.

Samsung Galaxy A70 comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a U-shaped notch at the top.  The device is powered by a Snapdragon 670 octa-core chipset and is coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Galaxy A70 is fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery which supports 25W fast charging, similar to the one on the Galaxy S10 5G. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner on the front which works with Samsung Pass and lets you sign in to apps with just your fingerprint.

For optics, the A70 features a 32MP (f/1.7 aperture) primary camera coupled with an 8MP (f/2.2 aperture, 123-degree field-of-view) ultra-wide camera and a 5MP (f/2.2 aperture) depth-sensing camera. On the front, the Galaxy A70 comes with a 32MP camera with f/2.0 aperture available for selfies and video calling. The Galaxy A70 runs on Samsung One UI based on Android 9 Pie with Night Mode, Samsung Pay, Knox and Samsung Pass.
