Starting with Donation Sticker, it is currently available in the US. The feature allows users to raise money for a non-profit organisation directly through Instagram Stories. In order to use this feature, users need to open the camera, take or upload a photo, tap the sticker icon and select the donation sticker. After that, users need to select a nonprofit to support. One can also swipe up, once the Story is live, to view the total amount raised. The company says that all the money will go to the non-profit.
Instagram has also added a new camera and create mode tools to its application. The app will soon feature a new camera design with a new Create mode. This mode will make it simpler to use popular creative tools like effects and interactive stickers. The company says that new camera and Create Mode will be rolling out globally soon.
Lastly, Instagram will allow users to shop the looks from their creators right in the application. One can simply tap on the product to see what their favourite creators are wearing and buy it on the spot.
Previously, the brand introduced new ways to interact with friends and followers with the addition of new stickers to use inside Instagram Stories and a Q&A feature when opting for Instagram Live. Among the additions to the Stories section, Instagram is adding a new music recommendation sticker which can be used when answering a question sticker on Stories.
