Motorola is hosting a product launch on August 15 in China to unveil the upcoming Moto P30 lineup and we’re now looking at the newly available images the device which comes in the form of promotional content spotted on the company’s official website. The pictures reveal the device in all its glory just a day before its official unveiling.

According to the pictures shared by MySmartPrice, there’s a glass back design meaning the device follows many modern midrange smartphones in employing a glass sandwich design adhered to an aluminium frame. Apart from traditional colours black and white, the P30 will be available in a colour gradient pattern as well with thin bezels and a top notch on the front. The screen itself is tall and measures at 6.2-inch with an aspect ratio of 19:9. All of which is protected by a 2.5D glass.

If rumours are anything to be believed, the P30 will be powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The dual camera setup at the back consists of a 16MP primary shooter with 5MP secondary one as a depth sensor. There’s a 12MP (f/1.8) lens on the front for selfies and will come with AI face unlock and AR features as well.

The leaked posters also reveal a 3,000mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging adapter bundled with the device. With Chinese customers in mind, it’s quite likely that the P30 won’t run on a stop version of Android but a custom skin. Additional features include support for Dolby 360 surround sound and split screen U-touch.

The Moto P30 is reported to retail in China for an asking price of 1,999 yuan (approx. Rs 20,000) for the 64GB storage variant. The device is also set to accompany the Moto P30 Note and P30 Play during the launch. According to the folks at AndroidPure, the P30 Note 4GB/64GB will sell for 1999 yuan (approx. Rs 20,000) while its 6GB/64GB version will sell for 2,299 yuan (approx. Rs 23,000). The cheaper P30 Play is expected to be sold for an asking price of 1,799 yuan (approx. Rs 18,000) for the single 4GB/64GB model.
