R1. The operating system available in oppo R1S
is Android Operating System v4.3 (Jelly Bean). The manufacturer of this phone is a Chinese giant Oppo Electronics Corporation.
The thickness of this phone is 7.1 mm which is ultra slim. Oppo R1S is a single sim smartphone which accepts only Micro Sim. It contains most of the sensors like Accelerometers, Ambient light sensors, Proximity sensors. Oppo R1S has CMOS sensor present at the back of the phone. The fingerprint sensor is not available on this phone. The dimensions of this phone are 142.69 x 70.4 x 7.1 mm. It is very light in weight and the body is made from plastic materials. The weight of oppo R1S is approximately 140 gm. It has a low pixels density screen which is 294 PPI. Display type of this phone is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It has a multitouch display features. Display color bits is 24 bit (16,777,216 Colors). The screen has protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen to body ratio is 68.62%. The aperture size is F2.0. Camera sensor size is 1/3.06″. It has an additional dedicated microphone mic which is used for noise cancellation. The Oppo R1S is available in white and blue color.
The Oppo R1S comes with a 5-inch full touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. It is powered by the 1.6Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and comes with 1GB of Ram. The processor brand is MediaTek. It has 16 GB internal memory and can’t be
expanded via micro SD card. It can shoot a video in 1080P. Oppo R1S equipped with a 13 megapixels primary camera with 1/3″ Sony IMX214 sensor, 6-element, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash and 5 megapixels front selfie camera. Maximum photo resolution is 3264×2448
(7,990,272). In the camera, the panorama, HDR, face detection, autofocus, touch focus, Geo-tagging all the features are available. It runs on Android 4.3 and battery power of this phone is 2410 mAh which is non-removable.

Oppo R1S has a micro USB port for charging and data syncing. The connectivity option includes wifi, Bluetooth, GPS etc. The Bluetooth features available in this phone is A2DP. Voice dialling, voice recording, voice commanding this main features is also available in oppo R1S. It does not support NFC, card reader, Headphone jack, Microphone jack. There is also the Adreno 305 GPU. It has the messaging features like SMS, MMS, Email, push mail. The R1S was announced in April 2014 and available in June 2014. The Oppo R1S price in India is approximately 27990 RS (399$).
